4. Proclaimed priestly blessings:

Melchizedek was the priest of the MOST HIGH God. He blessed Abraham and the blessing of God rested upon him. By the proclaimed blessing, God brought Abraham out of poverty. Priests are commissioned to proclaim blessings, while God confirms it. The bible says God confirms the word of his servant and performs the counsel of his messenger (Isaiah 44:17).

5. Heartfelt prayers:

And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.

25:And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.

26:And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.

27:And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.

28:And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. (Genesis 32:24-28)

Jacob said he would rather prefer a broken leg to miss the blessing. He prayed heartfelt prayer and he had a change of destiny. He was blessed!

Jabez looked at his lineage and everybody was like cursed. He was cursed by his mother from his day of birth. He needed a change of story and God’s blessings. He prayed his way to divine blessings (1^st chronicles 4:9-10).

6. KINGDOM STEWARDSHIP:

Kingdom stewardship is your great channel for God’s blessings (Exodus 23: 25-26)

Stewardship provokes the release of blessings upon our lives. Everybody should be somewhere, doing something for God. Things like sweeping the church premises, ushering services, being the children teacher in the church. These things that you may see and think they are nothing are something that provokes God’s blessings on our lives. So, when you are in service, you are blessed.

7. A HEART FOR GOD:

But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him (1^st Corinthians 2:9).

God has special packages for those who love him. He is not a joker! He means everything he says, and he says only what he means. You can always count on God! A heart for God is one of the major channels of God blessings. Just as David seek after God with his whole heart and God said “I have found David my servant …a man after my heart”. David tried his best to please God always. The same pathway he told Solomon to go through when he was on his dying bed. And Solomon did same  thing. Solomon loved God and he was mightily blessed (1^st kings 3:3). It’s is your turn to experience the reality of God’s blessing in your life. YOU SHALL BE BLESSSED THIS WEEK IN JESUS NAME’S …AMEN…..

If you are not yet born again, note that without being born again you are not entitled to God’s blessings. Making this decision will make you have instant access to God’s blessings. Please pray this prayer with all sincerity and confidence:

Lord Jesus, I come to you today! I am a sinner, I cannot help myself. Forgive me my sins. Cleanse me with your precious blood. Deliver me from sin and Satan, to serve the living God. Today, Lord Jesus, I accept you as my personal lord and savior. Thank you Lord Jesus, for saving me! Now I know I am born again!

THE COVENANT CHANNELS OF BLESSINGS BY BISHOP DAVID O. OYEDEPO.

Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence ye are digged.

Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.

(Isaiah 51: 1-3)

God desires that we enjoy Abrahamic blessings. This is why he enjoins us to look unto Abraham. Unless we do the works of Abraham, we can’t access his blessings. Abraham was an embodiment of divine blessings which made him great! Nothing distinguishes like divine blessing (Malachi 3:17).

Divine blessings differentiate between the believers and unbelievers. The blessings of God make the journey of life great!

When you are blessed, it is acknowledged by many people. God’s blessings in the live of his people are never hidden. They keep speaking as long as God is in charge! This is because his blessings make one rich and they add no sorrow to the blessed (Proverbs 10:22)

Also, God’s blessing make one prevail. Abraham’s blessings are being celebrated till date because whatever god does lasts forever (Ecclesiastes 3:14). The gates of hell cannot controvert this truth! It is the blessings of God upon your life determines the level at which you will be distinguished.

That is why in today message, God’s servant, Bishop David Oyedepo reveals to you, the covenant channels of blessing!

Abraham was essentially a product of divine blessings.

…Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will show thee:

2: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shall be a blessing:

3: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. (Genesis 12: 1-3)

The predominant word in the above three verse is “blessing”. So, blessing is the secret behind the making of Abraham nothing distinguishes destiny like blessings. No person prevails by the strength; but blessing is what causes men to prevail (Genesis 49:26)

So, we prevail by the blessings, not by strength, skill, power or by might. The level of the blessings at work in your life determines how distinguishes your journey on earth will become. The blessing of the Lord is what enriches and add no sorrow to it (Proverbs 10:22).  Nothing distinguishes destiny like blessings.

Let Us See Some Covenant Channels Of Blessings:

1. OBEDIENCE;

   Obedience is a non-negotiable demand! Everyone that wants to enjoy the blessings of God must embrace the law of obedience. Man was a blessed creature (Genesis 1:26-28). Man was put in the garden of blessings and retained there, as long as he was obedient. So, it takes obedience to retain God’s blessings.

   If you are a tither, you must continue to be a tither to retain God’s blessings. For instance, to be paid in your work place steadily, you must keep working! So, obedience is the gateway to the blessings of god.

2. GIVING:

    In genesis 8:20-22, the bible said Noah built an altar unto God and offered a burnt offering on it. God smelt a sweet savor, and he converted the curse on the earth into a blessing. Giving is one covenant gateway to blessings the bible also says: (proverbs 28:27). Giving is one of the principal channels of blessing

3. ASSOCIATION WITH THE BLESSED:

     The company you keep is what determines what accompanies you. Genesis 13:5 said: And Lot also, which went with Abram, had flocks, and herds, and tents. Lot went with the blessed (Abraham), and he was blessed. Association with the blessed gives you access to God’s blessings.
